I couldn’t let the chance pass…
When the good people on the accordion forum opened up a thread on “post your Christmas song video”, I jumped right in and said I was game, but I didn’t figure on how busy I was (again… lol).
2020, I firmly believe, is going to be remembered for many as the WORST year in their lifetime. COVID just absolutely destroyed businesses, people’s hopes and in many cases, took so many lives. Anything one can do to give a few seconds of joy or something that can put a smile on one person’s face is a huge act of rebellious “middle-finger” in the face of COVID-19.
The last month has been challenging with a 10-12 hour X 6 days a week work schedule and but I took a day off from work so I could work on the video… but that was not much help as I was drafted in to kitchen assistant duty for my mom… lol
OK, so last second, I pulled out 2 songs did some quick video recording upstairs and then went downstairs to get everything all set up and record one more song. Two hours later, here is the result… no its not my usual quality (yeah I was not looking at the camera, I was reading the sheet music… BAD JERRY!), but it’s a good effort and something always fun to do, so with that said… enjoy!
