Sometimes when doing favors for others, we do favors for ourselves.
The accordion forum found a new member whose father was the owner of the Elkavox 83 model, complete with tone generator and a MS40 arranger. The problem was that he wasn’t sure how it worked, so I posted a few details of how to do that… apparently that was not quite enough so I made a video of the process and since I was doing that tossed it all together, including how to set it all up with a mixer, then recorded the whole process on my cell phone and since I was there, threw a few songs at the accordion and tested out everything, then assembled a complete little tutorial on how to set it up followed by a fast little piece that showed how well it worked.
It was a ton of fun and let me put some use on the Elkavox and test out the electronics.
It may have helped out that person, but I had a blast!
