I didn’t know it at the time, but the day that I told my good friend Ed that I was getting a Corvette, he went out and in typical Ed-ness proved that he has a heart of gold once again.
He told me, after it came, that he had sent it out the same day that we talked and told him that I had bought the car of my dreams. It was a small gesture, but made a big impact and was simply… perfect. He sent this:
It is hung in my garage right next to the ‘Vette in a place of prominence, where everyone who walks in to my garage, can see it.
Thanks Ed, a gesture that makes me smile each time I see it.
