In response to a request on the accordion forum, someone asked me to explain by video how I “localize” myself on my keyboard and to explain the little exercise that I discussed. I guess some people are more visual than others and so I took the few minutes and created this video.
I was a great opportunity to use the Gola for the first time since I am still not used to it and would have to (in a very real way) go through this process myself to familiarize myself with this new to me accordion.
Here is the method that I use to get comfortable with the accordion and get to know by feel where my keyboard notes are situated.
