A New Attendance Record

August 1, 2019

Wow, my little board hit a new attendance record… we just passed over 30,000 visits!

Back in April 2016, if you had told me that this website would still be in existence, I would have doubted that, but at that time, I needed to create this place for me, to fill a hole, a need, that demanded attention. I started music because of my parents, but then I left it all for a very, very long time.  After so many years, I came back to the music because and for my father… but stayed for the love of the music.

I created this place mostly for me, a place to document my path… but if my tree falls in the forest, and there is no one around to heard it, did I make any sound at all?

I’ve come to realize one thing… music cannot be a private thing. It’s kind of like the old adage above.  Oh, of course, I can sit in the basement and practice, learn and make videos all alone, and this does serve a purpose for me, but the ultimate goal of music is that it needs to be shared and enjoyed by others.  My story and my music, in a very small way, needed to be put out there and shared.  The adventures that the accordion brings me, the stories of all the good people that I met because of and through the accordion, had to be shared.

This number, in the internet world is miniscule, but so far, over 30,000 visits here mean that somehow in a small way, the world is seeing me, and it doesn’t matter if it makes any difference in the lives of anyone else, it does make a difference in mine.

I was able to share… for good or for bad… in agreement or disagreement, someone (30,000 “someones”), took the time out of their valuable lives to visit this site, and to each one of these people, to each visitor, I am grateful.

Thank-you for being a part of my story.  Thank-you for your comments and opinions.  Thank-you for letting me share my story with you and you taking a little piece of me and my music out of these pages and out in to a small part of your world.

Simply… Thank-You!
