I made a fast video to show the very subtle effect if the Sordino (AKA Sordina) from the Beltuna Leader V. It shows that there is a subtle difference but it is there. The effect is different on other accordions with this feature, for example on my Imperator V, it cuts the highest notes. On the Beltuna, it seems to cut a bit lower on the frequency scale, making the sound not only slightly higher pitched when open, but also brings back the high-mids, making the sound slightly warmer.
The video is best experienced with headphones on.
