{"id":615,"date":"2017-07-09T15:09:00","date_gmt":"2017-07-09T19:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/syner-g.no-ip.biz\/mymusic\/?p=615"},"modified":"2023-11-09T15:01:52","modified_gmt":"2023-11-09T20:01:52","slug":"recordings-the-accordion-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/syner-g.no-ip.biz\/mymusic\/recordings-the-accordion-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Recording the Accordion #3"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">July 9, 2017<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In this post, I look at what it takes to record the accordion both from the viewpoint of&nbsp;the hardware needed, a few techniques&nbsp;and at doing something a little different.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\"> I&#8217;ve divided up this 26+ minute (yeah, though it&#8217;s pretty long, if I wanted to add everything that I would want, it would be over&nbsp;10 hours!), in to 6 sections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Capturing the sound from the accordion<br>In to the computer<br>Mixers<br>Recording software<br>Recording<br>The final audio<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">There really is so much that I left out, like how to set up the hardware in even greater detail, how to set up and use the software (that of itself a near impossible task in one video, as on just this alone, Reaper has created something like 32+ videos!), how to post process and how to create that audio file and more setup tips and tricks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">I didn&#8217;t even TOUCH multi-tracking other than to show it at the end!&nbsp; I feel this was a valiant effort to try to cover a process a huge process that others have tried to write entire books about and often failed themselves.&nbsp; To try to cover this in 26+ minutes\u2026 sheer braggadocio on my part\u2026 lol<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Anyways, for whatever it is worth, this is the culmination of about 16 hours of work to make.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Recording your accordion\" width=\"880\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2AceE7A46W4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enjoy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this article, I look at a few details of what it takes to record the accordion.
