{"id":217,"date":"2017-09-17T06:50:00","date_gmt":"2017-09-17T10:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/syner-g.no-ip.biz\/mymusic\/?p=217"},"modified":"2023-11-09T14:34:11","modified_gmt":"2023-11-09T19:34:11","slug":"never-on-a-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/syner-g.no-ip.biz\/mymusic\/never-on-a-sunday\/","title":{"rendered":"Never On A Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>September 17, 2017<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">A new addition to my videos! &nbsp;I recorded &#8220;Never On A Sunday&#8221; for a couple of reasons, first, it is very easy to play, so I could concentrate more on other facets than the music\u2026 and there were several other things to concentrate on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">First, I wanted to use all the tips that I discuss in my other article. &nbsp;So, knowing that, one has the idea that I recorded this video with one low-end camera (My Vixia HF R70), that I used the suggested video editing &#8220;tricks&#8221; and that I used my custom cable that let me record directly out from the output of the BK7m, straight in to the video camera (without any sound modification!). &nbsp;I think it all came out pretty darn good, proving that one does not need expensive hardware and a complex setup to record a pretty good quality sound!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is the video:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Never on a Sunday\" width=\"880\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kUc2lWcxqW8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">What I liked that was different was that when recording in this fashion, external sounds were not captured, which was great. &nbsp;The TV was on upstairs, my windows open with the neighbor cutting his grass within 15 feet of my window and nothing entered on to the recording. &nbsp;Granted, this is all due to having a digital accordion, but it is a great to be aware of! &nbsp;The challenging part is if you want to add vocals, you will need something like a mixer and add a microphone to be able to do so, of course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Now that I know this simple way works well and can be done, I will add more complexity, more equipment and along with that, more work, especially if you are just one person, so I have all kinds of challenges to overcome in that department&#8230; but isn&#8217;t that all part of the fun? &nbsp;That just might be a great idea for my next blog post. &nbsp;You&#8217;ll have to come back and see whether or not I make that happen! &nbsp;\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Layout<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>So what is the setup? &nbsp;Well, here is a small video that shows and explains it a bit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"http:\/\/syner-g.no-ip.biz\/mymusic\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/layout.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Enjoy! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new addition to my videos!
