Jenn and Devin, Boston to Montreal!

Jenn and Devin are a really different kind of couple… oh, sure, they are deeply in love and totally commited to each other, but they are different in that when they want something, they are the kind of couple that take the bull by the horns and do what it takes to make it happen.  Case in point, their wedding…  Jenn and Devin had decided to get married in Boston and have their wedding reception in Montreal… on the same day!

The journey started a couple days before on May 12th with Jenn driving down to Boston to Devin (who was just wrapping up a few things at the conservatory where he is a student).  A couple of days prior to the E-session (which happened on Friday), Devin made the arrangements to spend a little photo time in a small reception room at his conservatory with a grand piano.  When Friday arrived we have the pleasure of hearing Devin play and his mastery of the piano is truly impressive.  From there we went to the very beautiful Boston Public Gardens for a pleasant walk and to capture a few more photos.

On Saturday the 14th of May, the day of their very special wedding (which started around 6:00am for the bride, around 5:30am for the groom and 4:30am for me) we all got ready for this most special day.    The day of the wedding, they had the Sealing Ceremony in the Temple, took a little time for a few photos and made the six hour trip back to Montreal in time for the reception.  It was a very hectic day for the couple, but anytime you saw them, they were all smiles and all love.

Throughout the event, the weather forcasts were foreboding and predicted rain… and each day we were greeted with dry conditions right on up till the point the photos at the Temple were completed, at which point it ever so lightly began to drop a little here and there.  The rain really got serious about 75 miles from the border and continued throughout the day,  at which point it no longer mattered as all events from that point on happened indoors in a reception that was as vibrant and energetic as our couple.

Jenn, Devin… thank-you for letting me be a part of your very special day, it was a pleasure to have been a part of it and I look forward to our post wedding session in June!

Here are a few photos of the E-Session and Wedding Day!

Aaah — such a lovely looking couple on the happiest of days! I can tell there was a load of work done to make your wedding day the best. I wish I had been in town to attend, but such is life.

I hope you will keep those wedding memories close in your hearts so when things get a little rough in the road, you remember WHY you married each other and work through whatever needs attending.

Love each other fully, devote time to your inside spirits, be active within the Church, hold to the iron rod, and stay as happy forever as you were on the days of all these fabulous photos.

Well done!
